About Madison County Madison County, has two townships, Richmond and Berea. The county offers many attractions to its visitors.
Berea is known as the capital of artisan crafts in the state of Kentucky. Madison county is also home to
White Hall Historic State Shrine and Fort Boonesborough State Park. You will also find a couple of educational institutes located here as well.
Eastern Kentucky University and Berea College both make their home in Madison County.
